Garden Walk 2008

Valparaiso / Porter County

Saturday, June 28, 9 AM to 4 PM , CDT

9 Outstanding Gardens

9 Door-prize Drawings

It's time for Northwest Indiana's premier garden walk sponsored by the Porter County Master Gardeners Association and Purdue Extension - Porter County.  We showcase great gardens in Valparaiso/Porter County.  In fact, three gardens featured on previous Walks have been profiled in regional gardening magazines.  Master Gardeners will be on hand to answer questions and explain plantings at each garden.

Your ticket entitles you to visit 9 outstanding gardens including a suburban family compound accentuated by art pieces, espaliered apple trees, fruit & vegetable gardens; two compact in-town gems where every square foot is beautifully maximized; Taltree Arboretum & Gardens where new formal gardens cozy up to native prairie and oak savannas; and the new memorial Garden of Heroes.
