The Gardening Show features Presentations by Regional and Local Gardening Experts, a special Lodging Package, Seed & Bulb Exchange, Gardening Photography Contest, Juried Plant Show, and food service, as well as Exhibitors and Vendors of products and services for and about gardens and gardening. Each of these features may be viewed by scrolling below as details of our 2009 Show become available.

Entry Guidelines
All photographs are to be 8” X 10” and mounted on a mounting board.
No framed or matted photographs will be accepted.
No photographs with people in them will be accepted
Name, address, telephone number and entry category (see below)
must be printed legibly on the back of each photograph submitted.

Photographs must be received on or before January 14, 2008.
Limit of three (3) photographs per person.
Photographs will be judged on composition, use of color and aesthetic value. Decisions of the judges are final.
Entries may be picked up at the Gardening Show after 4:00 p.m. on January 19, 2008, or at the Cooperative Extension Office from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on weekdays between January 21 and February 1, 2008.

Horticulture Flower Show - January 19, 2008
Please Read All of the Rules
1. All entries must be grown by the exhibitor for at least 3 months.
2. Only 1 entry per person in each class or subclass.
3. Entries may be double- potted.
4. Entries can be entered on Friday January 18: 5-7 p.m. or Saturday, January 19: 7-8:30 a.m. All entries close at 8:30 a.m. (any entries received after 8:30 a.m., will be for exhibition only).
5. All entries will be released at 4:00 p.m. January 19, 2008. Any entries not picked up will become property of the Show.
6. If you come to see your results during the Show, you must have a purchased ticket to the Show.
7. The decision of the judge(s) is final.
8. The “Gardening Show,” Flower Show committee, Show personnel, and/or host building are not responsible for any damage to the entries (container[s] or specimen[s]).
9. Award Ribbons given if merited: 1st , 2nd , 3rd for each class, Best of Show
CLASS 1 - ORCHIDS – to be exhibited in container (pot) no more than 8” base.
CLASS 2 - VIOLETS – to be exhibited in container no more than 6” base.
