At PCMGA, we believe in cultivating more than gardens — we cultivate opportunities for our community. Over the years, we’ve proudly contributed over $87,000 in grants and scholarships to support local initiatives and educational programs. Events like our Garden Walk and Gardening Show make this possible year after year.

This season, our Philanthropy Committee awarded $2,150 in grants to six worthy applicants:

1️⃣ Duneland Garden Club – Rhododendrons & Azaleas for Thomas Park, Chesterton – $400

2️⃣ Friends of the Indiana Dunes – Native plants to stabilize erosion near the Nature Center – $400

3️⃣ St. Agnes Adult Day Care – Garden maintenance supplies – $400

4️⃣ Opportunity Enterprises – Electric fencing at Lakeside Center & planters at Main location – $400

5️⃣ Hilltop House – Repairs to fencing & raised beds in the children’s garden – $400

6️⃣ Trinity Lutheran, Valparaiso – Raised bed repairs – $150

We’re proud to support these organizations as they grow stronger, greener spaces for our community.
